16th Episcopal District News Update No. 3 – 2010 Haiti Earthquake Relief
“We continue to believe and trust in Almighty God for we know He can do all things and that He can relieve all the troubles in our lives.”
We received an update from Sis. Elvire on today and want to share it with our Church family and concerned persons who continue in prayer with us for Haiti.
Let me also thank all members of the 16th District Disaster Preparedness Team who joined the Presiding Elders and Pastors and Lay leaders and me on our teleconference Tuesday, January 19, 2010. As we strategically plan for the short and long of this journey to the “NEW HAITI” we need all of THE FAMILY involved. When you receive the minutes that Sis. Ferrynesia Bennjamin has prepared, please contact Sis. Sandra Anthony to be added to our skills resource data base to identify the area/s you are willing to volunteer for when we prepare to head to Haiti.
Here is the UPDATE from Sis. Elvire
(Please keep Sis. Elvire in prayer for God’s comfort in the death of her adopted daughter!)
