16th District Christian Education Empowerment Conference
Praise the Lord, the Sixteenth (16th) Episcopal District 2010 CEEC was a well attended success!
The Episcopal leadership team of Bishop Sarah Francis Davis and Supervisor Claytie Davis, Jr. along with the 16th District Christian Education director Rev. Newton Dixon, coordinated a wonderful event destined to impact lives, churches and communities for the glory of God! Persons from all seven conferences within the 16th Episcopal District attended the Christian Education Empowerment Conference (CEEC) in beautiful Barbados! The conference officially opened with a worship service at the historic Sealy Memorial AME Church in St. Michael, Barbados. Bishop Frederick Hilborn Talbot, the 90th elected and consecrated bishop in the African Methodist Episcopal Church, was the opening preacher. The remaining events were held at the Barbados Beach Club Hotel in Christ Church, Barbados.
